god this site is getting worst every visit...there at least use to some good discussions in here but nowadays when you find a worthy debate it sounds like this one...by no means is this worthy of anything but deletion

I am dissapointed in my Haitian people...but then again, I have do realize the guests posting in here are probably insignificant in their own communities so they dont represent the general Haitian population...

I would like to say, I am 110 percent Haitian and love where I come from...my best friend is Dominican and through him and other friends I have come to love Dominican people second to my own...I dont see the point of all this bickering because when you look at it, it doesn't matter...we have Haitians doing Haitians worst then any Dominican would, so bad guys are bad guys no matter what race, color, religion, nationality...sadly those same Haitians wasting their time dissing Dominicans in here probably go to work and call an American white Sir, while that same American's sentiments about Haitians are worst then what he has in his head about Dominicans...that's just how the world turns...hate makes people stupid...

Dr1.com is a true anti-Haitian website but even there you get people, Dominican people that defend Haiti because they have sense...and hate Haiti or not alot of them will admit if both countries would put together alot of the suffering and problems on both sides would be alleviated...again hate makes us stupid and stops us from progressing...

To those Haitians that call out Dominicans and say they breed nothing but whores that sell their bodies...do realize not too long ago Haiti had a booming whoring industry and that is the way Aids became so potent in Haiti...had Haiti not have been such a cheap place at one time to get some Caribbean vagina for white tourists, we would not be facing the epedemic we face today...in the situation Haiti is right now, if Haitian whores were on demand, many of our sisters would be in the same boat as the Dominicans that you are cursing...truth be it, our country is stuck with an Aids stigma, tourists will not go there to have sex...but the Dominican republic was spared the stigma plus the majority of their women fit the mold of what the world considers sexy and beautiful...

Stop the hatred people it doesn't do much for us but make us look worst off then we even are...it looks as if some of you are bitter and even jealous of these people you hate...I know our situation is desperate, hurtful and frustrating, but trust me, venting that frustration on others will not fix it...focus on what's on our plate...if you would take this same energy you have displayed here and used it on uniting for Haiti with other fellow Haitians trying to make a change, one day we will not have to hate anyone...

To my Dominican and Bahamian brothers that log on here to feed into this bad energy...I am happy to know for a fact that not all your countrymen and women feel this way because before I even knew about Haitixchange I have visited forums from both DR and Bahamas and know not all share your views...but still, I have no hatred in here for you...if you are one bit interested though in knowing how Haiti got to this point, there are many books out there that can explain the past and you will see how it came to shape the present...through reading Haitian history you might find out alot about yourself even...I have heard other West Indians tell me they learn about themselves and where they are from just through reading Haitian history...so my advice is dont feed into hate, dont spread hate, instead, read and learn and your mind will be so open what you pass on can trigger the eventual end to hatred in somebody else...

P.S. if anyone is interested in a mix Caribbean forum where everyone respects each other's nationality and love is unconditional accross the board...try http://www.coconutxchange.com - it's a whole different vibe in there trust me...nothing but positive energy and support for one another...

While many may not agree with everything that you said, your sentiments are positive, and I think that is more important.  I find this this to be a better solution than trying to kick out anyone or trying in vain to censure those who voice an opposing view from posting on this site.  It is also a better solution than criticising posters like a watch-dog without even ever having any original solution to offer, like some people here seem to do.

I agree, let's try to move into a more positive energy, regardless of what some may feel about Haitians, instead of wasting negative energies behaving like crabs in a barrel.

You have inspired me.  There are only a few dominicans I come into contact with on a weekly basis.  One is a security guard at work and the other two clean our offices at the end of the day.

Who knows; maybe a simple HELLO or GOOD MORNING might do miracles.
