Greetings everyone. Just made it to Pheonix Arizona last night to cover the the First Annual Haitian Social event  for HX which will be happening tonight at about 7pm in Mesa Arizona. This is my first time in AZ and the weather here is a pleasant change from New York's bitter cold. If I can, I will also try to find some time to relax.

Haitians have started arriving from all parts of the Western U.S. including L.A. and San Diego. Anyway, look out for more information on what is bound to be an interesting event for this blossoming Haitian community, as well as a testament to our expanding reach throughout the U.S. and the globe. Nou Toupatou! And of course, look out for "Anpil Foto!"

I found it from the Haitian Association of the Deaf website, Wow!!.. I never thought about many haitian people living in Arizona. I always thought Haitian people live in Chicago, Florida, Boston, New Jersey, New York and Maryland which are so popular. This Ariszona place is very cool place to live, I am looking forward to go there and enjoy myself with my deaf group from Haitian Associate of the Deaf club.   I will spread this HaitiXchange to my deaf friends in 5 states to visit. It is very cool to visit this website.

Thanks for stopping by. I'm still in Arizona and will be leaving later this afternoon. I have nothing but good things to say about my brief visit. The Haitian community here is definitely going places, and I received a warm reception every where I went. I was even interviewed on a local radio station during which the announcer and the callers gave much love. AZ is definitely going to be the new place for Haitians to move to.

Anyway, I'll be back in NYC soon, and will be posting all the great pictures I have taken of this desert paradise.

To clarify HeleZe's comments, at the Haitian social event, I bumped into someone who knew HeleZe very well and mentioned that it was HeleZe who got her to start visiting HX (what a small world.)

HeleZe, one of these days I'll definitely try to make it up to New Hampshire.
