I'm also interested in what this really means.

Tyrone: One Heart Foundation is my life. Since I grew up in poverty in Haiti, I always felt that if God gave me the opportunity to come here, then I would have to bring something back for people. When I talk about this foundation, it's not only for Haitian kids. It's for any children who are living in poverty, which is something that you can't even talk about much because it's everywhere. I feel like this is the right way to give back to my community

Tyrone: I'm more interested in giving and helping other causes than even running One Heart because I really don't have the time for it. Right now, if someone has a foundation, which is well known and trustworthy, I'll work with you if you want to do a fundraising. I'll put myself into it to do it.

Were we not given donation information becuause Tyrone is too busy for his "Life" and doesn't have time for it? Is this were you ask for help with your foundation or let it wither away and just help others? Is there anything we can do to help see that the foundation doesn't lay by the way side? Just some questions that came to me after my eyes came back into focus!

  Tyrone,

Great abs bro; definitely tighter than Tyson's.  Keep up the good work.

   Haitixchange,

While Tyrone is the first male, how about a story on the first Haitian Super  Model; Garcelle Beauvais.  From modeling and doing print advertising, she went on to acting; Models inc., The Jamie Fox Show, NYPD Blue.   Beautiful and always proud of being Haitian.

2004...2004.....2004.....2004....2004.... NOT THE OLYMPICS

Me san mi! Ayisian has gone mainstream.  I didn’t know Tyrone was Haitian until recently.  Brother if you’re reading this, know that your people stand behind you 101%.

About Haitian women being in the modeling business, I’m surprise 95% of all woman models aren’t Haitian.  Have you guys seen these Haitian Girls Lately?

Kreoyolbro, what did you mean when you said 2004 not the Olympics?

(I don't understand)

  Haitian 101,

I was referring to that part in the interview where the HX interviewer thought Tyrone was talking about the Olympics when he mentioned 2004.

On Haitians in modeling;  there are other well exposed Haitian models, but as Tyrone said they are in the closet about being Haitian.

A few years ago, a partner and I thought about starting a model search agency in Haiti.  Can you imagine the reservoir of exotic beauties available in Haiti and the other black islands.  The type of men and women you find in the villages and small towns.  In Aux Cayes I was simply in awe at the abundance of beautiful people.

Haitian 101; you need to go to bed at a reasonable hour on Friday nights bro.  You never know what you might miss on a Saturday...I could be posting you know.....lol..lol..

Kreyolbro,

As soon as we can find Garcelle Beauvais, trust me, we will be doing an interview! The  same thing goes for Edwidge Denticat, Wycleff Jean, and any other famous Haitians we can get a hold of.

Oh my goodness, I just read the article and my panties are all up in a bunch! Since Tyrone doesn't have a girlfriend (so he says) I might just kick my man to the curb and move to New York.

Of course, I'm just being silly, but Tyrone (I hope he reads this) you make us really proud and the fact that you are doing something for the community and don't appear to come accross as arrogant and selfish, is a big plus. I'm so glad HaitiXchange printed this and hope many other young Haitian men (and women) can use Tyrone's story as inspiration.

Bon bagay!
